This week, Activision had an earnings call, and naturally, one of their biggest franchises came up, Destiny. The game has seen a bit of a resurgence lately as lapsed players have returned after the April Update, and Activision seemed very pleased with how that played out. Here’s ATVI CEO Eric Hirshberg talking about it.

“So Destiny has nearly 30 million registered players now and our April content successfully reengaged the community and was very well received. We think engagement has remained remarkably strong, even after the release of some competitive games in this genre.”
