The player base of Bungie's first-person shooter game "Destiny" has grown quite extensively over the months. From Activision's November 2015 announcement of 25 million registered players, the numbers jumped to 30 million, as per the company's most recent earnings call. This was all probably due to the big April update that Bungie released last month. The update contained many new added contents and improvements for the game that gave players more reason to jump back into "Destiny," according to Activision publishing executive, Eric Hirshberg, as reported by GameSpot.
